Forecasting (MAIN)

• Forecast 1-2 year long term market sales
• The unit of forecasting is product based variants
• The history of forecast and real situation are recorded

Ordering (MAR)

• Pre order before 24 weeks are generated
• Before 4 weeks before production, the pre order is fixed as equipment variants (VALUE).
• The order is dilivered from Sales to Marketing
• The order can be chnaged before manufacturing (Order Change)
• The unit ordered is equipment variant.

Manufacturing (SAP)

• ERP for the order (equipment variant) generates material resouces.
• The ERP system generates BOM for purchasing after review the safty stock.
• The ERP system also has routining information and calculate their processing time.

Remarks for Engineering

• If an assembly in an engineering BOM is assembled by supplier, its sub parts may not be considered by ERP. They are considered by Part Development Team.
• The root parts attached to configuration items (EG-part) are dipicted in assembly drawings and considered by ERP.
