시작하는 법
catini -XM -cs
- cs - cold start : start with an empty CATIA model.
- ws - warm start : start with CATIA model used in the privious work.
- qs - quick start : System automatically detacs the cold or warm mode and start the CATIA.
How to use mouse
- The first mouse button : select
- The second button : indicates a direction or an area
- The thired button : move
- The thired after second : rotate
- Arrow keys : Zoom In/Out
- "Yes", "No", and "INT": Keys used to confirm, reject and stop current operation.
Messages from CATIA
- "/" and "//" means OR
- SELEC PT : selects a point on a line or a curve.
Coordination System
- Current Axis System (Current AXS) - Currently activated Axis System
- Secondary Axis System - Local Coodination System.
Layer and Filter
- CATIA supports 255 layers.
- Each layer contains a specific class of representaion of an CATIA object such as Axis, Plan, Wireframe, Solid Models.
- Filter is a set of interesting layers
- Users can see interested features from whole features of a complex object through FILTERS.
Master Work Space (WSP) and Detailed WSP
- Main features of a part is built in a Master WSP.
- Reused features are built in a Detailed WSP and called in Master WSP for reuse.
- The method for callingl the features are classifed into two methods, "copy" and "ditto" methods.
- "copy" method copys content of the feature, so it can be modified in the Master WSP.
- "ditto" only brings a link of the feature to the Master WSP so it can be modified in the Master WSP.
Library and External and Internal WSP
- Library contains CATIA objects for reuse.
- The objects are classified into several families.
- For search the objects, Keys are provided: Alphanumeric, Binary, Numeric, Description
- Objects from Library should be registered as an object in Detailed WSP.
- There is a link between the libray and the object in Detailed WSP.
- The Detailed WSP called as "External Detailed WSP", c.f. Internal WSP.
- If user drop the link between Library and External Detailed WSP, it is changed into Internal WSP.
