Engineering Change

A set of activities that change the content of parts and their constituent relationships in the product structure, usally in order to enhance the functionality, the quality, the productivity or the maintenability of the product.

Engineering Change Process

see the KEDB Engineering Change Process - It consists of 4 basic sub processes: Problem Identification, Research and Change, Change Review and EC implementation.
